Frequently Asked Questions
There are two great ways to give the gift of Shirts On Tap: A gift card OR a gift subscription!
If you purchase a gift card it will be mailed to the gift recipient the next business day. They can then redeem that gift card to start a subscription. Once the funds on that gift card are no longer enough to cover the cost of a box, the gift recipient will be invited to add their own payment information and continue their subscription if they'd like.
If you purchase a gift subscription you can simply enter the gift recipient's shirt size and preferences, and enter your own email and shipping address to keep it a surprise. If you prefer to send it right to them you can choose to enter their email and shipping info. You can update the email, shipping address, or any other account information anytime after you sign up in the Member Portal.
Your subscription is entirely month-to-month, so try it out for a month, or stay on the rest of your life. If you want to cancel the membership, make sure you get the request in BEFORE 4pm PST on the 5th of the month, otherwise you will be charged and receive that month's shirt.
Absolutely. If you don't like any of the designs one month, or just want to take a break it's not a problem. Just make sure you make the request in the Member Portal BEFORE 4pm PST on the 5th of the month, otherwise you will be charged and receive that month's shirt. The "Order Summary" tab in the Member Portal provides an overview of what you will be receiving, or it will show that you're set to skip the month, and will update in real time based on your most recent selections. If your Member Portal "Order Summary" tab does not reflect the order you want be sure to double check your selections before the cut-off time.
We keep it simple. When you sign up you will get the shirt being featured that month for the beer scene you select on your sign up form. So whether you sign up on January 1st, 15th, or 31st you’ll get the January shirt. If you sign up after the 5th of the month (when our first round of printing begins) please know that your shirt maybe be printed in our second round of printing at the end of the month and will ship out shortly thereafter.
Every month on the 1st you'll receive an email showing our brewery line up and shirt designs for that month. You will have until 4pm PST on the 5th each month to customize your order in the Member Portal. The "Order Summary" tab in the Member Portal provides an overview of what you will be receiving, or it will show you're set to skip the month, and will update in real time based on your most recent selections. If your Member Portal "Order Summary" tab does not reflect the order you want be sure to double check your selections before the cut-off time.
Every Shirts On Tap box includes a shirt, sticker, brewery bio, and a member perk for a discount or deal of some kind. Often that member perk will be specific to the brewery, whether it's for beer or something else offered in the taproom, and sometimes it's specific to another promotion we're offering. Either way you'll get hooked up every month!
The amount you pay when you sign up will cover your first box. After that you'll be charged along with all other members on the 5th of each month. If your payment is declined we will attempt to charge the card on file every other day until the 25th of the month. After the 25th we will no longer attempt to charge for that month. If your payment for a given month is collected after the 5th we cannot guarantee that we will still have your exact shirt preference on hand, but will work to send you the closest match that we have.
If you sign up between the 1st and the 5th, or if you are an existing member heading into a new month your box will ship between the 15th and the 25th. This is typically plenty of time for your box to arrive before the end of the month. Because boxes ship each month between the 15th and the 25th of the month, we cannot guarantee delivery of December boxes before December 25th.
If you sign up after the 5th of the month, your shirt may ship between the 15th and the 25th as described above if we have the shirt you requested already printed. If we do not, your shirt will go into a second round of printing that we do at the end of the month and your shirt will ship out shortly thereafter. After your first month is over you can always expect your shirt to ship between the 15th and the 25th.
If you receive the wrong shirt or if the shirt you receive is defective or was printed incorrectly we would be happy to send you a replacement shirt free of charge. The shirts we release each month are limited edition and we print very few extras. If we ever do not have the exact replacement shirt you need on hand, don't worry. Aside from making cool shirts our top priority is Customer Service and we will always find a way to make it right.
We only print the featured brewery's shirts the month they are featured. However, we typically have a few leftovers. If you're interested in a previous shirt, check with us to see if we have your size in stock!
